Banding Together is celebrating our 10th Anniversary this year by hosting a t-shirt design contest. The winning entry will have their artwork printed on the t-shirts that will be sold at our annual Greatest Hits benefit concert at the Belly Up this fall.
So while you're at home waiting out COVID-19, grab your pencils, markers, computer, paints and get creative!
Who: open to San Diego county artists with special needs ages 13+
What: 2-D artwork in any medium, 8.5x11" size with the theme of music, Banding Together, 10th anniversary
Cash prizes for the top 3 winners along with having their artwork printed on the t-shirt or cards.
When: deadline is June 30 at 5 PM PST
Where: fill out this form, attach up to 3 pieces of artwork and submit. Email marketing@bandingtogethersd.org with questions or problems.Art will be curated by Banding Together and displayed on our website for judging. Winners will be chosen and notified by July 31, 2020.
Our rock star judge will be Scrojo! Scrojo is a product of Encinitas, CA USA. He began his poster designing career at the age of 19 at the Belly up Tavern in Solana Beach. Since then he has gone on to design posters for concerts around the globe including gigs for The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Eric Clapton, The Foo Fighters and acts as diverse as Etta James, Public Enemy and The Damned. At nearly 3,000 posters designed to date Scrojo is considered "The Most Prolific Poster Artist in the World".
