We are excited to kick off our next Jam Session season! Winter / Spring 2026 Jam Sessions will kick off at all 4 locations - Carlsbad, Point Loma, Chula Vista and El Cajon. We need YOU to help us make it a great season!
We’re always looking for volunteer mentors to come alongside our participants for a whole semester or just one-time! It's a rewarding way to give back for those who love music and our amazing special needs population.

We do provide training and it's mandatory for NEW volunteers. Training occurs before each season kick off and details will be emailed upon signing up.
Music therapists pair volunteer mentors with Jam Session participants based on skills, experience and personality. Our goal is to strategically match each mentor with a Jam Session participant to foster relationships that are impactful for both the volunteer mentor and the Jam Session participant. Therefore, we ask you to register so we can learn more about you and accommodate the dates that fit your schedule. We are looking forward to having you join us!
